Introduction and Process Overview

Introduction

Thank you for considering Dr. Mccormick’s Surgical Care team to help restore your lifestyle and reduce your daily pain!

Surgery can be worrisome, but we have successfully treated thousands of patients just like you! We hope that walking you through the process can help put your mind at ease.

Our team helps ensure that the process runs smoothly and that you fully understand each step.

Our leader, Dr. Frank McCormick, has a pretty cool resume. A Harvard Surgeon and former aviator, he is successfully applying aviation technology to surgical approaches. The care team includes P-A’s and nurse practitioners with medical assistants working together to get the job done!

The Surgical Coordinator manages surgery preparation as the Care Coordinator follows you through the process, and our Office Manager assists with all appointments and paperwork.

During our “surgical planning and risk reduction” process, our team reviews your information and surgical plan to determine additional tests that may benefit your experience.

We coordinate any assistance or therapy you need at home as well as medications, which may be provided before, during, and after surgery.

Finally, our “100 days to health” program helps ensure we identify and mitigate complications while you heal, provides direct access communication to the team, and assists you through the entire recovery.

Together, we aim to return you to the healthy, optimized lifestyle you deserve!

Dr. McCormick schedules all virtual consultations through Best In Class MD. This is a separate service from Dr. McCormick’s in-office clinic. BICMD is a virtual platform that facilitates educational and informational sessions and can therefore be conducted for clients anywhere in the world. This comprehensive service includes a thorough review of your medical records and imaging, a 30 minute telehealth visit, as well as written recommendations provided in the form of an Expert Report. Due to the educational and informational nature of the visit, as well as the concierge nature of the booking process, insurance is not accepted for these consultations.
